Institute for History of Resistance and Contemporary History in the Emilia Reggio Province

The Institute for Resistance and Contemporary History in the Emilia Reggio Province was founded in 1965 by former partisan and antifascist women with the intention of preserving original documents from that period of time. Employees today work intensively on 20th Century history, especially the Esteri agency that organise trips to memorial places and involve themselves in juvenile work.

From this context a suggestion was made to the EU to bring young people with similar experiences together in order to create a European Online-Resistance archive for the Internet. ERA was born! Youth groups and partner institutes from different European countries met living survivors of the Nazi regime resistance and antifascist groups in order to reach a broad public by publishing and showing those interviews and videos.

For lieblinx™ this was and still is an affair of the heart. Great importance was not only built on conception and graphics but on the severity of the topic as well as the wish to approach a wide public. Usability was the main focus of our development and graphical implementation.

The portals realisation was focused mainly by Drupal Frameworks.
