Re-launch of the Social Network bloomstreet.net
On behalf of our customers W/RITE media GmbH, Berlin, and in close cooperation with them, this portal was re-launched by lieblinx™ based on the social software Drupal, starting with the concept, the redesign and going to the software development and the technical realisation.
One doesn’t have to be a student, business man or producer of amateur films to present oneself on bloomstreet and meet interesting people with the same interests. Where other Portals are limited to certain target groups, bloomstreet offers a broad, entertaining and easy to use portal for everyone who likes to present themselves creatively in a communicative community.
Bloomstreet’s strong point is to provide possibilities for direct communication with other users. By browsing through individual home pages similar interests are soon found. The music play list, the photo album, the blog or forums are the main access points on which likeminded people meet and exchange interests and hobbies. Similar interests create a feeling of togetherness and develop strong identification within the portal. By using the term “Mashen” nearly all free data content from other Web 2.0 portals can be connected with bloomstreet and imported to the users homepage without complications. Thanks to the simple instructions, producing ones own home page becomes child play. Cool features, constantly up dated with new ideas and options are available.
With a Page-o-mat the user can arrange his/her own page easily, integrate his own blog, show his favourite photos and display a play list online. Music plays an important role for bloomstreet. The Portal is the ideal platform for young bands to present their own songs within the community. Users can place songs in their play lists and recommend them on their own homepage. The personal arranged music channel is an invitation for ample listening and exploration.
