The aim of MTV Networks was to establish the brand SpongeBob at the Apple iTunes Store and Facebook. With this in mind the projects requirements were an high value fun app which communicates the central character and mood for the SpongeBob brand. Most important was a short time to market and a successful market entry.
For lieblinx this meant that we brought the fun and character of SpongeBob to the iPhone and Facebook by developing an easy to understand but striking idea for the iPhone. High quality in graphical and technical development was as important as the fun of the game.
In November 2009 the first application was released in the European iTunes store: SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam. Today with its worldwide release and about 50.000 fans on the accompanying Facebook game we are very happy to have succesfully developed and released the application with our partner lbxgames, MTV and Nickelodeon.
